Discours de Stephanie , pour le mariage de Regine.

Once upon a time, on a distant shore, there lives  a girl named Regine, She is konwn to have the skin colour of olive, the silhouette of a gazelle and the hair of a goddess.

However she used to say that she was the unluckiest of all the girls.  She was sure that no one will ever ask for her hand and that she would remain single for the rest of her life,  All she would do would be cooking and lamenting on her destiny.

Until one day, she had this great opportunity to fly to continent where she would be able to reborn.

Here you were Regine... I remember you with your little skimpy skirt and your boots, ready for the big challenge of a life time,  And here we were...mum. Romane,Nicholas and I behind the tinted window of airport, weeping all our souls as you disappear with dad into the crowded  airport.

Thanks to your stubborncharacter, you made it there, and Arlette can be proud to day because she can tell us how manty sleepless nights she did have to get you  through your primary and secondary studies here.  Once you had something in mind,  Regine, ils difficult to get it out.

Well after 2 years in Australia, you managed to come back home with your prince  , Morris 'The Man" as his chaps use to call him.  One thing striking about you,  is the contrast in all its aspects,  that has
bound you together.  All built in muscles, the sporty Morris used  to watch closely his fitness before meeting his slim girlfriend.  Her undeniable sense of hospiality and certainly her good cooking wipe away for good the resistance of Morris weight watch  through proper diet and hours spent on body building machines.

Indeed we can suppose Regine's offer was more tempting and delightful.  Since then, Morris chocolate tablets started to melt.  I sincerely feel that it's with no regret,  because Morris you are always proud
of the food that your little fairy mauritian brings on the table.  Even that, it is a fact that Morris has chosen to live not far from his mum, not only because he is his mummy's boy, but also he can't miss the pasta, orienchini and all the yummy cakes of Josepina.  His second passion is footy 'Go the Saint' and he would certainly die to see them win for the grand final...

When you came first to Mauritius, we were all taken aback by your 'stay cool man' personality.  On holiday , Morris is really the kind of give me a break, cool down and relax man!.  Quite a lesson for us mauritians, who use to go on rushing in our activvities taking no time to see the beauty out there.
Your easy going  and caring personality Morris have conquered not only the heart of Regine but ours too!.  We take this opportunity  Morris to thank you for all you 've done for Regine's happiness and success regarding her studies, her career and her stability.  Our deepest thanks go to Santo and Guisepina for thir kindness and support, towards you Regine, during all those years in Australia,

Talking about you, Morris and Regine, would be incomplete without Aldo your  'little  cock- spaniel
type of dog,  In Mauritius, Regine was known as  'Mama toutou' , and I sincerely don't know how she managed  to make not only you Morris , but your dad and mum , adopt the little monster.  But that's the way she is and it's quite difficult to resist her charms, believe me.

It is  certainly with great emotion that to day, your family and friends are celebrating your wedding.  Your love has conquered our hearts and promise to fulfill your life with happiness.  The road of marriage is certainly not the easiest, but its hardships help each other to grow beyond  its own expectations and its fruits open our hearts and minds to a true relation of trust, truthfulness, generosity that only true love can bring.   Morris and Regine,  we believe today that your couple will incerely reach those goals that made a marriage bloom in a life time.

May God bless you aand may your dreams come true.

STEPHANIE
